Which Storybook Character Will You Be?

September 05, 2011 at 3:33 PM

On Saturday 29th October 2011, the clocks go back 1 hour so what better way to support a charity than donating your extra hour to Royal Blind?  Take part in ‘Glow in the Park’ on SATURDAY EVENING, 29TH OCTOBER, it’s as easy as a walk in the park and you’ll be helping a great cause. The sponsored walk to raise funds for blind adults & children in Scotland takes place in West Princes Street Gardens.  The theme this year is storybook characters, so think of your favourite and dress as them on the day. Gain a sense of what it is like to be visually impaired with special lighting, plus there will be music, bubble machines and surprises to safely mark the way.

ENTRY DONATIONS – children 3-16 years £6, accompanying adults £2.  A group discount is available, enter TINYTOT online at ww.royalblind.org/glowinthepark/ or call 0131 229 1456 for more information.  Character masks are available too or make your own to take with you, a great event to add to your Cub or Beaver programme.
