PEACELIGHT SERVICES

For many years the Austrian Scout Association have arranged at this time of the year to take a light from the candle burning at the site of the Nativity in Bethlehem and distribute it by lantern throughout the Scout associations in Europe.

The light symbolises the message of the light coming into the world at Christmas and of the hope of peace.  This year it will again be in the Region.

Two services are to be held when all members and friends of Scouting are warmly invited to attend and share the Peace Light.

If you wish you can bring a lantern and take the light back to your hall, school, church or home and keep it burning until Christmas.

Please come to either (or both) and bring a small lantern if you would like to take part in the transfer onwards of the Peace Light Queensferry Parish Ch (The Loan, South Queensferry) at 7.00 pm.on Sunday 19th December

Liberton Kirk Centre (Kirkgate, Liberton). Tuesday 21st  December at 7.00p.m.
