Happy New Year to you all and I hope you are now starting to think about the summer and trying out water activities at Longcraig. We have a fair number of bookings already, but there are still sessions available although Friday nights are booked.

Key dates for the 2012 season are:-

Monday, 7th May - Sessions commence.  Friday, 24th August - Last evening booking
Sunday, 30th September - Last weekend booking.

All bookings via Regional Scout Headquarters please (0131 229 3756, Mon-Thu 09:00 to 16:00) or via email (secretary@southeastscotlandscouts.org.uk).

Requests about courses should be sent to courses@longcraig.org.uk or phone messages can be passed on via Regional HQ. We will happily run courses at dates suitable to you subject to minimum numbers and availability of resources at Longcraig.

We are always on the lookout for more assistance and would particularly welcome any offers of help on the administration side of things. In particular we are looking for someone to do our staffing co-ordinator job which is very much part-time job but does have a busy 8 week period during May and June. It does not require any water experience/skills and would be ideally suited to someone who has access to email and time either during the day or in the evenings.
