The Regional Executive Committee is due to meet again on 23rd February, but, in the meantime, I am able to update you on a number of matters that I referred to in the December newsletter.

We are delighted to welcome Christine Moodie to the staff team. Christine commenced employment with us at the start of January as clerical assistant. As noted in my last update, Christine works in the mornings, spending Monday and Friday morning at Bonaly and the other three mornings each week at Valleyfield Street.

Planning for the future continues with further review work on Bonaly due to report to the Executive on 23^rd  February. Refurbishment work on the field toilets/showers at Bonaly was delayed because of the weather in December, but has progressed since the turn of the year. Work is nearing completion and the showers are looking really good.

A review of Longcraig is underway and the group will report to the executive in due course, as will those who are undertaking further work on how we can make best use of the centre in Valleyfield Street in the future.

The Region Development Project is progressing well and Scott Burton, our local Development Officer, is making a real impact with the work he is doing. Further information is available elsewhere in this newsletter.
