Welcome to the second of our new style e-newsletters. We received some positive feedback on the new style for the last edition and the team that have put it and the new Regional website  www.southeastscotlandscouts.org.uk together are to be congratulated.

As many of you may know I am still unwell and off work at the moment and likely to be so for a wee while yet. Whilst I’m off the rest of the team are very ably looking after things. If in doubt call the regional office on 229 3756 (Monday– Thursday, 10 .00 – 4.00 p.m.) and leave a message and hopefully someone will be able to deal with the matter.

I was pleased to hear of the successes of the recent events at Tulliallan for DCs and then for those involved with training and I’m pleased that the Region was well represented at these events by leaders and commissioners.

Before long we will have a number of events that are regularly held but are different each year. The Annual General Meeting at Lasswade on 30^th October (a note appears elsewhere regarding this) and at the end of November the Gang Show at the Kings Theatre once again. Both well worth attending!

I do hope to see some of you later in the year.
