Leader’s Treat

Saturday 2nd October

Registration from 9.30am

Welcome & Bacon Butties – 10am-11am

Special permission has been given, by The Duke of Northumberland, for groups affiliated to The Scout Association to camp near to Alnwick Castle for free, for up to a week, when they buy tickets to Alnwick Castle and/or The Alnwick Garden, the only cost being for toilets & waste disposal.

Scouting Leaders (one per group) are invited to Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden for a free family visit** on Saturday 2nd October. Enjoy a great day out, see the camp ground and find out more about the opportunities for fun, learning and adventure for scouting groups at The Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden.

Come along to the Castle and discover the Knights Quest experience, with dress-up, hands-on activities and the chance to slay the dragon. View the Castle collections, talk to the guides and meet fascinating characters from medieval times.

At 10.00am there will be a short welcome in a marquee at the campsite, followed by a bacon butty, tea and coffee. The Castle and Garden teams will be on hand to talk to you about the activities we offer for all ages.

We hope many people will join us, so please pass this on to any colleagues that you think may be interested. Due to the expected popularity of this event pre-registration is essential.

Please email michael.shepherd@alnwickcastle.com if you would like to attend.

Once you have pre-registered, bring along proof of Scout Association membership to claim your Leader’s Treat tickets for you and your family**

**One adult guest and up to two children
